All I can say is "Hawks baby!" and thats not because I work at Philips Arena. LOL

Through rank Boston #1 Lakers #2 said they will meet in a title showdown

Hawks look good but the Magic might be in there way
with the Heat fading fast and the wizzards on the rise the Hawks have alot
on there plate in this division and might not make it to round one less they have
a knock out punch of there own

Denver going to make a run for the playoffs while from L.A
it might not say Lakers but Clippers

Ok i know my Team seem sad but i have high hopes for a better season
on the Bulls and the young star Rose

Detroit will rule this division , likewise Boston

Cavs need a bit more to really overcome the hill they face every year James need
more help on the wing

Mavs and Hornets will battle in the southwest

T-wolve , Jazz ,Nuggets in the northwest will be in a dog fight this season

First and foremost,

Whoever plans on doin somethin better do it dis season (maaaayyybe next).. cause when Greg Oden develops into what he will be, Portland will be a Dynasty (other teams will DIE-NASTY tryin to play them)

But of course Oden may not be able to stay healthy, then... forget it.

The H0rnets will be stronger (but I don't know if they will be strong enough)

The Jury is still out on L.A. Will Bynum be that second superstar to help Kobe in the playoffs? It remains to be seen. Eirbody thought it would be Gasol... but Hell NAW. He folded like a lawn chair.

The Spurs are RAPIDLY running out of time. They have a long shot if they can stay healthy.

In the East

Philly will cause problems, but it remains to be seen how well they play together.

Cleveland will be stronger (they never had time to gel as a team last year before the playoffs)

I also believe that BY THE END OF THE SEASON, the Heat will be a top contender to come out of the East.

But when it is all said and Done, it will be Boston coming out of the East. The West?

Tmac is a softie who I despise dearly, and Yao's always hurt, so I understand certain people not taking them seriously. With that being said Ron Ron will add toughness, defense, offense, clutch play, etc. to our team. If the rockets can remain relatively healthy I like our chances...................Ron Ron and Battier will give teams fits defensively. And our depth is INSANE.

PG: Alston/ Brooks/Brent Barry (has looked good in the preseason)
SG: Shemac / Von Wafer (hasn't officially made the roster yet, but I hope he does)
SF: Ron Ron/ Battier
PF: Scola/ Landry (he's gonna be a 6th man candidate.....Carl's got game for those that don't know)/ Hayes (great defense)/ Dorsey (great defender, but won't see a lot of minutes probably)
C: Yao / Mutumbo (we're signing him back pretty soon)


Word is Steve Francis might get cut. I'll always love and respect Stevie Franchise for playing his heart out everynight (although he'd turn the ball over a lot), but those knees are done......

No. Their playoff run wasn't all that impressive last year....They let the "hawks" take them to 7 games?!?!?!?!? Losing James Posey will hurt them a lot, and K.G. is still a softie (who pretends to be hard by growling excessively) who is fortunate that he had a true superstar like Paul Pierce to step up and make big plays.

yes....they're done........thank god.....no more boring basketball. Manu is out the 1st couple of months, Timmy's losing it, and they added no siginificant pieces in the offseason...

No, and they haven't been for a while now. Joey D should've made some changes in the offseason like he promised. Detroit will have a good reg. season and dissapoint in the playoffs yet again. Plus teams like Orlando, Toronto, and Philly all got better......

No. I'm saying this partly, because I hate the Utah Jazz and everything that organization stands for.....But ultimately no. They still have no SG, they don't know how to win on the road, and Boozer AK47 and Okur are too inconsitent in the playoffs.......Deron Williams is a beast though.

My Conclusion is


Top Threats in the East:
Cavs, Heat (my boy D. Wade is back healthy again along with Marion and Beasely), Celtics

Top Threats in the West:
Hornets (added Posey to solve the SG problem, and Paul and West will both be better....scary thought), Lakers, and Rockets (health is the key as always)

The rockets look good in pre-season it might be a real battle in the WEST this year
Lakers / Jazz / Mavs / Blazers on the rise Oden/Roy & Blake look out!
Rockets /Clippers /Denver /Hornets & wolves.......WEST packed with talent
Spurs know how to win playoff games and look to get back

Hawks on the rise and will hurt lots of teams Cavs still missing one piece to it's puzzle
but will be there again, Boston clearly the favorite Pistons not going away so fast and
Philly young team gel together they gonna make a big impact Magic & Heat also going
to make a splash and run everybody in the EAST have to go through Boston & Detroit
and even Orlando.....

I think both teams needed it. Billups was on the decline and neither team was going to do anything of any significant with their current rosters....Stuckey will get more time, and you can play small ball with Stuckey, AI, RIP, Tayshaun, and Wallace/Maxiell....Denver finally gets a pg that they need, a guy with experience, and a another big man in Mcdyess (that's if he stays in Denver...if he doesn't Miami or Cleveland needs to reach out and pick him up immediately).......I don't think this makes either a legit "contender" but both needed a change..............

I think both teams did good and both will be a bit better ....A.I should fit in well with
the pistons Billups gonna be a great point in Denver plus McDyess coming off the bench
will be a good addition
