Sometimes....we can do
our very best
Dot every i, cross every t
Get an A on every test

We can toil so hard
the sweat drips from our brow
Work double over time
As many hours as the day will allow

Give a plethora of patience, despite a world of worry
while providing continuous comfort and care
Putting others in the forefront...before yourself
Giving much more than a lion's share

Yet even after giving...all of that
Sometimes things don't work out
I can only imagine how difficult this must be
Outwardly strong, inwardly needing to scream and shout

But your loved ones know, you know, and
God knows all that you have done
And you shall be blessed for all your selflessness,
all the love you've given and all the compassion

And one day, she will know
How fortunate she is
that you love her so...

just maybe if she look pass her own self ......i'm feeling this because it reminds me of something in my life

Surely her blessings will come, not always as we want them...but always on time.
