I need help with this Black soap:idea:
I bought some and it looks like a big glob...no a clob of stuff....
I have not felt it...but then I saw the actual bar and thought :?: Oh there actually is an actual bar:?:
but I need to knwo if I need to kix it with anything....how do I use it in the form it is In now?

I had one like that and I just rubbed it on my face like a regular bar of soap. Or if you want you can lather up a towel and then rub it on your face.

Thank you, I thought if I just rubbed it on it would crumble or something so I didnt want to do that...lol

Cut it into a usable size. It will last longer that way. If you wanted to, you could shave it and melt it then add it to a commercial liquid soap if you wanted to get a lather. But you don't have to. You can use it just as you got it.

are you using it on your hair or skin?
If it's for your hair try one or both of these...I got them from some chick on Np.

I have a yummy black soap shampoo that has left my hair feeling INCREDIBLE after rinsing. All I need do NOW is find a pretty bottle to put it all in.

1 4 oz bar of black soap
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar
almond extract for fragrance
about 1 1/2 cups of strongly steeped hair tea. I use vanilla and chamomile.

Mix it all together in a 16 oz container. Add water the rest of the way if needed. Allow bar to slowly dissolve, shake, and then pour some out into a smaller bottle for daily use.

2nd recipe: BLACKSOAP SHAMPOO
- chop blacksoap into small pieces
- but them into an empty bottle
- pour aloe vera juice over it
- wait a day or two until they dissolved

* You can also infuse it with herbs for ex. sage

What is funny is I have been waiting....I have some of that ol FUnky Garnier crap that I can feel straightening my hair whenever I look at it....and I have some dove soap that I wanted to finish.....I know I will Be living the Live at soon as I pop open the containers! LOL
I like really can not wait!!!!

Do you have a recipe for a good moisturizer I could use on my scalp. That "African oil" does not help.

I am using this for the first time tonight.

supplies
one glass jar
6oz of jojoba oil or macadamia nut oil
2oz aloe vera juice/gel
2 tblsp of horsetail herbs
plastic squirt bottle (like the one for hair dye)

1. place oil and herbs in a the jar
2. place jar in a pot of boiling water let the oil heat up
3. remove jar from water and place the top on it let this sit for three days so the herb can infuse with the oil
4. strain oil in to squirt bottle
5. pour in 2oz of aloe
6. shake well and your ready to go

with this mix you will oil you SCALP (after i brush it through my hair) if you use Jojoba you may have to reapply every two day because you scalp will absorb the oil completely. with the mac oil you will reapply it once a week depending on how fast your scalp absorbs the oil.
continue to wash and condition you hair as usual just dont pile on a bunch of other products if you can dont put any thing else on you SCALP you dont want to clog you pours.
