the sky is falling
my ceiling of hope is at war with serenity.
my limit of faith is decreasing
i need an escape
but have no where to hide
from internal perception

the scars have yet to appear
and yet i feel less me
less woman
less sexy
semi empty

despite findings of others like me
it doesn’t stop my personal pain
others in debt
wont erase my strains
others with hope
I only wish to regain


and why me.
my sky is falling
that minor surgery
has me thinking negativity
searching for a release
from internal perception.
before the scars appear.
Before it sets in
Permanently.

So many of us can relate to the rhyme of this piece.

its really hard to get over a surgery that leaves scars .. that create negative reflections.... the sad part is only i can control such thoughts

I can feel every twist of this and know so well as we all can relate

We have surgery to have something repaired, and that is wonderful, but then the scars are difficult to get used to. Understood, and well expressed poetess.
