Sometimes words just don't seem sufficient to express what one feels and thinks about someone else. I last spoke with Nibs in February for several hours on the phone. I knew then that this was a brother and Blackman growing to become the dreams of our ancestors who died in Slavery trying to hold onto, trying to retain what was African within them. He was that dream in the flesh, mind and spirit. I guess it pains me more deeply than I thought it would because I wish I could have gotten to him sooner than I did.

I knew when he posted my book on his site that I had reached him...I simply wish it had been sooner. He is greatly missed ...but his spirit will remain and others his age and younger will realize and come to grasp and live the reality that he was just reaching as he was another step in our rise to our true destiny as an African People.

RIP Nibs Ra,i used to read his contributions on Allhiphop,very intelligent brother,he knew a lot of things.

We recently lost a member of the family. His name is Marquis “Nibs Ra” Logan. He was a strong and extremely eloquent conveyor of ideas, especially to those who may have needed a deeper explanation of spiritual and philosophical information. He would debate and put forth original ideas or supports another's argument when they couldn't articulate their arument well enough.



His favorite rooms on the board were the Social Lounge and Race & Religion forums. Why? Because these were the boards that allowed him to best express his aspirations for himself and people of African descent, as well as those who sought progress with relations between different ethnic groups through the Hip-Hop.

Ohhhhhh Brother Qwamii ... Sister Queen told us that you could not be with us tonight, but you recorded a piece ahead of time, you playing the drums ... and it was AWESOME !!!! ... it was played at the beginning of the celebration ... and then again later because others had come in and not heard ... it was GREAT !!!! ...
