I remember when I first saw this commercial a couple months ago. I was laughing then thinking......what is this new ish they done came up with now!
More programming and using an Afreekan man to tell the Sistren that our hair needs to be straight, long and wavy.....kinda like a white woman. smh
A "miracle" huh:?:
and "the Hits just keep on coming".
Thanks for Sharing this Destee

Jaisolovely 06-04-2008, 05:40 PM :qqb006: I had got all of my hair chopped off, bump that perm mess. At the time I was getting sores. So I had cut my hair a lil and decided to transition and my hair had three different textures in it so I recently cut it all off. I was ready to go natural. I love the fact that I can wash my hair (or less there of) every day. I also like the attention ;-).

It's really not good to wash yor hair every day sis. as it basically strips it. I gues if you are heavily oiling it every day.....but it's really noot healthy for us in general.
But I see what you mean, if mine get get...I'm not shouting "MY PERM" or "MY WRAP"
"FORGET THAT" LOL
I get let it Be free as it want to be(maybe with a little of my own personal adjestments...lol)
I tell ya...Ican wait to go swimming:)
Jaisolovely 06-05-2008, 10:20 AM Yes I have realized that so I had stopped. I just add water to it until its time for me to wash my hair. My hair gets dry quick so I have to oil it every day. I was looking at some natural hair websites to find out a routine I could atleast try to see if it fits me. To be honest now I dont know what texture my hair is, its a bit wavy but it wont lay down like I want it to.
$$RICH$$ 06-13-2008, 09:31 PM I do find the ad wacky and foolishly displayed beside Dr. Miracle is not all what it's
written up to be...these products have citric Acid in it no true organic herbs roots or
bay .......another way to mis-use our sisters for a fast buck ......
it also carry other harmful ingredents.
nevar 07-03-2008, 03:09 PM i think it is ghetto and i am glad I am not the only one who feel the ad is unbelievable. how she has her lip poked out and looking all ugly. I told my fiance we do not act like that when our hair is nappy. and if a black person directed that commercial he need his but kicked for that the depiction of black people! Sad America!
blackeyes 07-25-2008, 02:02 AM I hate this commercial too.
I remember on the last season of College Hill Atl, every time those girls were in the bathroom doing their hair, the camera would zoom in on the Dr. Miracle product display. SMH
YungMiss 08-08-2008, 05:24 PM She didnt need a miracle.. all she needed was a comb..she had her hair standing all over her head..everyone hair would be messed up if you didnt even attempt to use a comb..whats up with tht

Hey sista,
What kind of oil do you use? If you use products with petroleum that could be why your hair gets dry. Petroleum seals the cuticles shut so our hair can not absorb and retain moisture. I pass by the commercial oils altogether and make my own mixture of sheabutter melted into extra virgin olive oil. I also found out beeswax isn't real good either so I no longer put that in my mix.

Now sista never, don't you go bad-mouthing the ghetto or you won't get no xmas toys cuz when Santy Claws leaves the North pole he got orders to go straight to the ghetto.:D
February 2005 I made the decision to stop waging chemical warfare against my hair and now I got my miracurl:lol:
