I'm about halfway through this book, and gotta say.. :ohmy:

The author looks at most Black contributions to WWII - from the French, who employeed 100k+ Black troops mainly from West Africa - the Britsh, who recruited 100k+ from the Carribean - and the American Black troops, 1m+.

Now, of course the book expands and explains the atrocities these Black troops met during WWII - atrocities we can expect in line with the history we know. and more - eg if you downed a Black pilot, you killed him. Being defeated by Black troops was unacceptable. The wanton massacres are too many to number - and never examined closly.. even after the war. Very few even made it to the status of POW.

But the reason I'm writing this post - is one thing I didn't take into consideration - that is that America was still segregated at the time they entered the war.

So I'm reading about Black US soldiers, in charge of Nazi POW's.. being treated worse than their prisoners.. IT IS ABSURD! hahaha - I almost cant comprehend it.. NAZI POW's enjoying the white fountains, sitting where they want - in areas their guards cannot go! NAZI POW's protesting against their Black captors - and WINNING!! Details like this.. I'm stunned how quickly we forget - how easy we FORGOT.

On the other side of the coin, the surviving Black POW records from the EU recount that they had better treatment from their NAZI guards, than the white Americans they happened to be imprisoned with.

How ironic is it that the war against racism in the EU coincided with the war in the USA for equal rights.. yet.. at the end of the day.. the GLOBAL CONTRACT of white supremacy remained intact?

I understand that the war was controlled by folk were not fighting about race - but money/power - but did the common man know that? I dont think so - people believed they were fighting for a cause, right? At first I would agree but the black people who joined the ARMY and ARMED FORCES from America knew or was TAUGHT by their ELDERS that RACISM wasnt going to be defeated but they did it to save Americans - ALL even RUTHLESS WHITE today. If they did not STEP UP to defend this NATION I would not have been POSSIBLY BORN.

This is one of those topics I 've had to wait for Afrimericans to not only realize but acknowledge.

The Germany that became Nazi Germany later was an Aryan theft of everything German Jews had acquired, and methodolgies they had used to deny others basic human rights.

Nazi Germany, even before WWII, had a plan to eliminate Jews, and Blacks to eliminate the history of the acts and methodolgy so as to create a new vision that all they did, all they knew, per social, political, economic, etc..., advances were all white.

There is a much more detailed analysis to be made, but in short, everything Hitlers Germany did was a repeat of what Jewish controlled Germany had done generations before.

Also, a great deal of Black history worldwide is hidden, erased, or disregarded because of the Jewish controlled medias worldwide, and their ability to infilitrate the highest level of academia, and corporate, and government circles and systematically alter history and concepts to serve jewish and White interest. In a sense, Jews, are the willing slaves of white interest, and unfortunetly, that trend has infected Black people, especially those born and raised in America

Looking at the HISTORY of WAR so far on RECORDED EARTH it has always been MAINLY a MAN'S AFFAIR.

But WORLD WAR II was UNIQUELY DIFFERENT. For the U.S. that IS.

Sure it was about POWER and if you study our HISTORY between the RACES and the CLASSES in the NATION before WORLD WAR 2 and AFTER you will begin to UNDERSTAND the direction this NATION and WORLD is going into NOW.

They did GOOD.

I think without that HOPE from BLACK WOMEN (MOTHERS) our MEN (FATHERS) INITIALLY would have DIED with EASE in that WAR with HITLER.

It brought OUT to the NATION and the WORLD (due to AMERICAN GI's OVERSEAS) all the ELEMENTS we had ROOTED in OURSELVES.

We became a RECOGNIZED GLOBAL PEOPLE to the WORLD thanks to the FOUNDATION left by our ANCESTORS.

because I was taught - and it is generally believed.. that the Americans came into the war when it was almost already over - so we learn bare basics about the US participation - less from any Black American participation (we didnt even learn Black particpitaion in general! but American contributions are low on the scale so if there was ANY news - we'd be more likely to hear about the EU Black than the American - again, if the history books bothered to refer to them at all)
