nubian noir 06-06-2007, 02:15 AM I want to learn how to play. I registered on the site I am looking for a learning site for this. help me please.
Afru Shukuwr 06-25-2007, 04:33 PM Ive gotten so bad and good things out of it.
Chess is a game that if I beat my opponent I suddenly seem to think I am smarter than them about anything.
The bad also is that you can easily play too much. But it tests your memory skills.
Zulile 06-25-2007, 04:38 PM I'd love to refresh my mediocre chess skills - but the site will not accept my registration. tried twice. strange.
EgyptianOpal 07-13-2007, 11:31 PM didn't work 4 me.

MasterDJ 07-11-2008, 01:42 PM Hey everyone,
I am an expert rated chess player...if anyone wishes to learn you will most like have three options.
1. See if someone you know is willing to teach you.
2. If you go to websites like www.chessclub.com they have many Grandmasters, International Masters, Fide Masters and etc who can give you private lessons. However, there is a fee for a membership to the website and also most teaches on the internet chess club charge also for their time. If you learn through some other free websites or through a friend then I do recomment purchasing their annual membership because it improves your game drastically.
3. Learn the old fashion way and go grab a book!
Destee, I also tried to join your website it it denied me three times like peter...LOL!

Beans 11-10-2008, 02:27 AM it appears that site doesn't work, has anyone played chess on that site?
epiphany 12-21-2008, 03:03 AM How are you this mornin?
Yes I've dabbled a bit in chess....won some, loss maybe two games.
I've been playing since I was in my twenties, haven't played in a while,
I may be a little rusty.
I love the game, it's challenging and will work them nerves when you
have an equally or better experienced opponent.
In fact, I have a funny story behind one game I played. He was a bragger...
oh he just knew he had the game in the bag....just talkin "bigtime" crap.
We had a small audience as well...but I kept my kool...especially since
braggarts annoy me~smile. Anyways, just as he was one move from calling me in check...of course that was my plan leading him into a false sense of
security. I said the wonderful word every chess player loves to say......
CHECKMATE!
He looked at the board...look at me..the board...at me.
Stood up...flip the board over and walked away.
I can't tell you the satisfaction I got from that....:golf:
Needless to say, he wasn't too popular with the ladies after that:nono:
epiphany:heart:
Astrologer4U 01-28-2009, 02:29 PM I play chess, the last time I played, I lost in less than 15 minutes, never happened to me before. I guess I lost so fast because I was playing against an ex felon. They don't have nothing to do behind bars but to learn how to play chess, and play it well.
Yeah, I love chess, it really tells alot about a person.
