The above is just a glimpse of what the Moderators and Administrators must go through, to keep our home peaceful like it is.

This is just one person, sending almost 50 emails, flooding the chat with like text, registering and being banned, over and over again, all within hours. Unfortunately, we have experienced many like this, some worse than others.

We are threatened, attacked, sent suspicious packages via postal mail, etc., just for having this community here.

Usually, these incidents are dealt with behind the scenes, and rarely is it allowed to be seen by the Family. We work hard at keeping it minimized. In this case, several were wondering in chat, why this person was kicked out of the room, as it appeared to them that they did nothing wrong. It's my hope that you all will have confidence in our decisions, as they are always done with the best interest of the community in mind, even if you can't see why we do what we do.

I never realized that you guys have to go through so much. I thought this woman was just an isolated case and that she had singled me out for special harassment. Well it's always good to see the big picture.

I've been wondering, is there a way to ban the ip address rather than just the user name? I know this would not be 100% guarantee but it would make it much harder for people to reregister once they have been banned. Also I seem to recall reading something about informing the person's isp which I believe can be determined from the ip address. I have time to look further into the details of how this is done.

Sister River ... in this person's case, banning the IP isn't an option, as they keep changing it. They change it, as well as their email addresses, so there's no real (efficient and effective) way to keep them out, that i'm aware of.

They seem to be a professional internet troll (http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40645).

I suppose tracking them down, turning them in to someone, is an option.

It's my hope that they'll find another site, more worthy of their hate, than us.

This person (or someone) has sent me "e-cards" mentioning brothers Oldsoul and Rich. The material is rather stupid and hard for me to believe that "trolling" has reaches such a ridiculous level.

These "e-cards" were also sent via e-mail to my aol account. I dont really have time this morning to report this but will do so after work this evening.

The nerve of some. I believe this "inspired future" character is working as an agent. This person we are discussing has put many of us through a great deal of trauma sending pictures of mutilated babies and obnoxious messages to out private emails. If it had been enough simply to ban her from Destee you know us well enough to know that we don't chase after people. By acquiring our off site email addresses she has taken things to another level. So we now have to take things to a whole nother level. Knowamsane?
