Peace and Blessings Family,

Can we stop this before it gets started?

Do we possess such control over our own selves ... to do that?

Let's watch and see ...

DesteeRather late for that, doncha think? This has been, essentially, the plight of Africa long before Africans were first "invited" to these shores. And it is exactly why we are where we are today.

Sister River said a thang; zack "questioned" it; I responded because the thang she said is something that I completely agree with; zach got to accusing us both of making something up; we reiterated our positions with "explanations" as clear as any that "support" any "religion"; zach chose to not see them, reiterating the accusations of "made up"; evidence was presented enumerating each effort to explain the position; he walked away talking about "proving a point"; Sister River called him on his disrespect and now you are going to step in and question our "control"?

Surely sounds, to me, like a position that should be quite familiar to any that have experienced the treatment meted out to Africans planet over. Sooner or later comes a time to "just say no"; sorry it had to be here/now.

Peace and Blessings Beloved Queen Sister.

And after all that, he comes back like this? (http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46906)

On the one hand, even I might would consider dropping this thread and comments from the other post. On the otherr, my neck has just gotten fed up with all this "other cheek" turning!

Brother anAfrican ... at some point, those involved must recognize that the constant back and forth is not yielding the results desired (if they aren't) ... and if that is the case, that some one will abandon the effort ... perhaps leaving it for another to make headway with, in a more peaceful fashion, if possible.

That was, and is, my only point.

Who will be the one that is able to overcome their own desire to have the last word?

So, to your question ... no ... i don't believe it's ever too late to bring peace to a situation.

That is, if peace with your Sisters and Brothers, is what you seek.
