I read about this man once and it was sad to read about all the things that happened to our sistas at the hands of this DR. imo, there is no real face that has been put on our enslavement.

Roots is nothing when compared to horrors like this one and that is why I think slavery is looked at and treated in such a callous way. I came to this conclusion when I was a picture of a slave who had been whipped on the back. His back looked like someone had taken a blunt knife and cut these deep trenches across his back.

But these images aren’t shown b\c it would put a true face on slavery and people will see why we won’t just let it go
