What would you do if you received a windfall in the amount of $100,000.00?

the first is for my spiritual..
a 2 week retreat.... because my mind needs to rest...
Call everybody i owe.. and pay them back.
So now im at about...
90,000.....
In which...
Id use the first third as the overhead for my new conceptual idea ive been brewing.... yes.. a business/non-profit... charitable orginazation, a new wave in online/offline communication... in the streets education!

the second third.. would go to buying up some mutuals, and stock.. and a savings account with at least 5%intersest...

the last 30,000.. 20gs will be put into my roth 401k...
the rest will get me back to africa... and service the unfortunate, and inpoverished.. the sick and sad..
until that well runs dry...
and smiles are had.. and bellies are full..


It would change my financial situation... because the little i do have invested now.. is for early retirement.. so that i may persue my philanthropic/humanitarian efforts.
It would allow me to have more of an overhead.. and truly a chance to possibly double my money. The more i have, the more i have to give... invest.. and show ppl that there are truly good ppl out there, they just are poor and humble like me... lol

We all know that money cannot bring happiness yet it can make me comfortable. With that amount of money I know for sure I would invest in real estate and buy a home for my children. A homestead.
I would also like to start my catering business and become self sufficient and be well on my way too making another 100k

$100,000.00 equals 950,000,000 Ghanaian cedis(currency) Thats almost a billion cedis. What would i do with that kind of money?
I use 500 million and set up an NGO for kids then, use the rest to set up a hospital i nmy hometown.

What would you do with 100K?
Here's how I'd budget 100k:

1) Take 30k and use it for the DP on the lovely 4bd 2.5ba house I've had my eyes on

2) Take another 5k and alleviate my debt

3) Use another 5k and knock off some bills in advance

4) Add 10k to my daughter's trust/college fund

5) Invest another 10k into equipment/necessities for the in-home childcare establishment I plan to open

6) Finance another 15k vehicle

7) SHOP with another 5k

8) Let the remaining 20k sit in the bank and collect interest;)


100k can take you a long why if you make worthwhile investments

I'd take 50k and put in cd's for my daughter's education,travel etc<<
I'd take 10,000 tell my mother to buy her whatever makes her happy.
I'd take another 10 and give to my grandmother to put down on a house.
She lost her house some years ago.
The rest I'd save.
100k doesn't come often so I'd like it to last for a while!:shades:

id use half to pay off all bills

the other half i would invest in some form or fashion

I would pay off our house- Then I would rent our home out and buy a new house along with furniture and decorations for it.
and pay off our student loans
I would pay my tithes
and save the rest in the bank.
