Chapter 3 - The Source of the Light of the Eastkemetkind 10-31-2006, 09:43 PM Discussion related to Metu Neter Vol 1. Chapter 3 MenNefer 02-26-2007, 01:46 AM Chap Briefly covers: Harappa and MohenjoDaro -The early civilizations pioneering Black occultic systems of amelioration(around 3000BC). - These Yogic practices dealt extensively with male /Female generative organs as invaluable tools for deity invocation (or primordial attributes /intelligencia) (ie: Kula Yoga, Tantra, Kamasutra) -These archaic practices laid the groundwork for hybrid systems to be proliferated throughout East Asia in the various forms associated with Buddhism. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agni_Purana) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashoka) Previous ref. to a particular emperor credited with the prosytelization of these spiritual philosophies which were anchored in african cosmogonies. -Differences between Gautama's Hinayana (little vehicle) and Mahayana (great Vehicle) and references to their philosphical underpinnings in the Upanishads. The ethnic similarities of the Dasyus/Dasas, Dravidians and Sumerians. How The Aryans imposed a rigid (apartheid) caste system and castigated the indigeneous priesthood. The proper syncretization and efficasy of various spiritual practices in China, Japan, Ect. These cultures which inherited various combinations of archaic universal truths are not the sole proprieters or owners of these concepts but have managed to maintain the integrity in unique ways. ........Would appreciate any further elucidation or contrary info. river 03-05-2007, 02:21 PM The events described in this chapter are microcosms of a phenomenon that is prevalent throughout history. The way the left-brain thinking western mind tries to isolate the physical from the spiritual. Since he thinks that nothing but the physical exists it stands to reason that he would think that if he takes the physical practices of our traditions they will work for him in some mechanical fashion devoid of the spiritual aspect. No wonder they get disillusioned with "that eastern stuff." |
