View Full Version : Black Women : I'M WRITING A BOOK...
CreativeExpress 08-24-2006, 05:07 PM Hello sisters,
I am writing a book on men/women and the ties that bind us. I need to do some reasearch on the subject and that is where you all come in. I have some questions to ask and I hope that as many of you can answer them for me as possible. There will one question every week. Here's question #1:
What is one quality you value most from a man?
A: Beauty
B:Brains
C:Size/Girth (u know what I'm sayin)
D:Domestic (marrige, kids, the whole bit)
Thank you for helping
Peace and Luv

CreativeExpress 08-24-2006, 08:52 PM Did I offend you in some way by asking a question? to women by the way...

CreativeExpress ... Hello and Welcome Home ...
I'm sure those Sisters that want to take part will, and those that don't, won't.
Of the choices you've provided above ... i suppose i'd have to choose B:Brains.
Good luck with your book!

CreativeExpress 08-24-2006, 10:33 PM Thank you so much for your response, I hope I haven't offended anyone. I'm very interested in knowing if women's views on love and relationships closely resemble or match my own. Thank you for your support.

$$RICH$$ 08-25-2006, 03:37 AM If i was a woman , i wouldn't make my choice from above
but a combonation of all above for each part play a role ..
Good luck on the Book .
phenomenalwoman 08-25-2006, 09:16 AM I don't feel like you gave us much meat to choose from. But making a choice from what you gave us I would say Brains. Rethink the choices, I don't think you are not going to get much feedback. Cause like I said it's just not enough meat.
CreativeExpress 08-25-2006, 07:49 PM Thank u thank u Thank u! Feedback is what I need! Without the multiple choice what would your anwer be? It seems that question needs to be a bit broader and left to the responder to decide the answer. Ya think!
Thanks again
phenomenalwoman 08-25-2006, 09:33 PM Well we are all coming from different perspectives i.e. some of us are looking for love,
some of us strictly sex,
sex with the possibility of love,
or someone to take care of us financially,
and lastly and (rarely) some of us are waiting on God.
I think that's a good thing to establish first.
For me I'd like to say I was waiting on God, but I am human and get lonely so I'd have to say I am looking for love. What's least important to me is sex. Most important is respect. Respect takes care of everything from emotional, to financial and beyond. I am looking for a good man, and he has got to be respectful.
soulFAreal 08-26-2006, 12:31 AM I believe many African American men have far much more to offer so i would have to chose (e)
CreativeExpress 08-26-2006, 11:59 PM I appreciate the feedback from you both, A wider perspective of the question asked is exactly what I'm seeking for this book..I thrive on the knowlege of others so for yours, much thanks....
dajiboo 09-04-2006, 11:17 PM I don't know, I guess I'd say domestic because if he's brains all the time it would work because, he's to serious to sit back and joy the beauty and miracles of life, love, and a family.
