i remember that week,
that lips would not speak.
nor did hands move,
because it was me that decided to choose.
i laughed wicked,
ran out the door swiftly.
BUT YOU SOUGHT TO BLAME ME!
that is what kept me going,
that hope that you never had,
the hope that you said you had,
HA!
but girl you couldn't find the way to tell me,
couldn't find the way to see me,
or even find the time to think of me.
HA!
now i'm at a point in my life where i find peace,
that isn't in a relationship that's discreet,
nor ignored or started then my supposedly better half retreats.

you really thought justification of your actions,
would lead to me being your benefactor,
girl what's wrong with your emotional reactor?

sure i'm no man,
judge me not for claiming beauty from the inside out,
you can judge me for:
-my lifestyle
-my beliefs
-my size
-my color
-my acne
-my religion but,
judge me not for seeing you how you want your soul mate to see you.

dare you disrespect what took me 19 years to muster,
what took me too long to be shot down so evily,
you have never but i still conceive your meaness differently.

not 20 words in my 19 year week,
but you sought to blame me for wearing my rainbow to not be confused...

and to think i lived my past thinking all lesbianism,
was bad,
when in fact the simple fact of symbolism changes "the straight"

that is what kept me going,
