There's a race to life
that I just now have begun
there are many paths to take
but I gotta choose the right one.
'cause when I make a turn
I can't turn around
but I thank God that there are some bad turns
that'll lead me back to safe ground.
I won't get a lot of those
while I'm going along my way
so to help myself out
this is what I'll say
"Is it best? Is it right?
How can it change my life?
If this is the path I choose
will I still be alright?"
If the choices I make
are decided by the answers I get
I'm sure I'll the make right decision
'cause the plan hadn't failed me yet.
