Brother James, actually I saw it on video tape, but it wasn't the first time Ben Wallace has blocked shots b Shaq... As I recall, he blocked Shaq's shot in the 2003 NBA Championship Series - if I'm not mistaken...

i saw it, and yes Ben has upper body strength like no other
he is huge strong and can hold his own in the middle ........

ben wallace is a beast! This guy must be in excellent condition because he plays in overdrive 48 min a game. he never seems to tire. His offensive game is coming up too!

But, it was a shot after all. He didn't block shaq's dunk. :lol:

At the time when Ben blocked the shot, the Piston defense was gaining steam. They were pulling away from the Heat at that moment. So, the extra adrenaline made Ben respond on instinct.

It was a good game...very close to the end. There were like 17 or 18 lead changes in the game. It was a very prediction of what's to come in the playoffs.

Ben Wallace is a strong guy. On ESPN it was said that his max bench press was 400 pounds but they might have said 500 pounds. I can't believe 500 pounds, though.
