Experts: Introverted youth have deep roots for behavior (http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/20051128/ts_usatoday/expertsintrovertedyouthhavedeeprootsforbehavior&printer=1;_ylt=ArHd78y_jL.Dt9idbfCYj4HfB2YD;_ylu=X 3oDMTA3MXN1bHE0BHNlYwN0bWE-)Introverted children enjoy the internal world of thoughts, feelings and fantasies, and there's a physiological reason for this. Researchers using brain scans have found introverts have more brain activity in general, and specifically in the frontal lobes. When these areas are activated, introverts are energized by retrieving long-term memories, problem solving, introspection, complex thinking and planning.
Extroverts enjoy the external world of things, people and activities. They have more activity in brain areas involved in processing the sensory information we're bombarded with daily. Because extroverts have less internally generated brain activity, they search for more external stimuli to energize them.

Why am I disagreeing with this? I do consider myself an extrovert and yet I am introverted also. Is Michael J an introvert or extrovert? his act and job says extrovert, but his personal life says introvert. I am the most social and yet anti social person I know. I prefer my own company, solitude and serenity of thoughts. Yet at the same time on the flip mode, I know I am off the hizzy socially speaking. There's always something about these EXPERTS THAT BOTHERS ME. NOW I KNOW WHY.

Well.. Im an introvert.. and i 2nd this piece.. one..
because i ask my fellow destee peers..
whens the last time you had a dream you can remember?
Whens the last time you daydreamed..
you were off in a faraway place..
Introverts as children had imaginary friends..
I myself couldnt force myself to believe that my friends were imaginary...
so my dog just had special powers.. and i understood his barks.. etc.
Children who are intorverts... find the time to unlock different sections of the brain.. those parts that are usually active in the dream state.
But for them, its a normal activity..
the parietal also has a surplus of activity when solving major complex problems..
This coming from an adult who had migraines when solving math equations...
sounds silly hunh...
well it wasnt to funny when i looked like frankenstien...
lol.. but hey..
you gotta know there to go there...
as nikki giovanni said.. to me one day.

I have always noticed that the empty vessels made the most noise. Extroverts usually are the loudest and some of them tend not to be up to par when it comes to performing problem solving tasks. Myself an introvert, I noticed I performed better than extroverts in academic tasks.
