As we gather round tables
Laddened with blessings

Sometimes we forget
We’ve come a mighty long way

Curse them anyway…
Surely would have been better
If they’d let us stay

And yet… still we rise
In AmeriKKK
Facing GROWING pains…

Each and every day
Not really free…nor a slave
Thank God for roads paved

Marcus Garvey-ites
Stand up and raise a closed fist
In tribute and praise

To our leaders…past
May God forever impress
Ancient memories

It took a village
To survive that middle sea
Wrapped in UNITY

For eternity…
That’s how it should always be
Peace …Love…Harmony

We weren’t defeated
Thank God for your history
