We have a forum rule to have only 4 to 5 post on the front page
while with you so new to the house and we love what you bring
poeticly, but with you having 9 post on the front is flooding the page
and knocking a poet with one poem off everyone like to shine on the
front as long as they can ,you have to allow some of your work to move

which say and show you not given or sharing love as love is given to

we truely love you and the poetic art you bring but the guide line
must be followed while you may have not known so i hope this can

Well Tantrum reality is that we cant force the folk to read it BUT I will say on this one thing I do agree with you. I would go as far as to say that folks shouldnt be able to post a new piece unless they've replied to at least 3 or 4 pieces because in the long run it will help the moderators avoid threads such as this one where you have to WAIT till someone sees it etc. If it were a prerequisite folks would get into a habit of doing it but then again... I'm no mod :lol:

at that time we felt it wasn't needed to push someone
to read and post before they can express themselves

:read: its not the same crowd upstairs Rich and thats for real. No one want to FORCE someone to do something BUT... its like when momma would make you do chores when you were a lil bit so that you could develop certain HABITS that were beneficial for you.

THIS is one of those situations. Destee.com is one of a kind when it comes to its poetry BUT part of that has been because folks always gave GENUINE love and that was the standard. Folks ACTUALLY READ the poems before typing responses and it was REAL not fake not plastic not one lined repeats of what you just said a million times before... if so many of the newbies are doing it than our "next generation" so to speak of Destee.com'ers will just continue in this trend. How else to encourage folks to learn better habits than to have that sort of requirement. Its not like they have to PAY to post just REPLY to post. But of course you know I was thinking this before-hand anyway LOL ;)

Apology accepted Tantrum I completely understand how you are frustrated and how much you think about your work however...

I just think our family would benefit from reading others work to keep the wheels turning... but I dont want to tell people how to write their poetry cause I wouldnt want them to do it to me lol realistically I can empathize with the desire for sincere responses because sometimes intentions are blatanly obvious but... theres no way nor is there a right to dictate that...

so thats why i say the whole recommended post/reply thang :read:

Ok well this is the second time
We have brought this to there attention
So we will see what happens from here on out

There are any changes at all

people can say , one liners or a host of words when replying
we don't try to force anyone , i understand what y'all saying

it's good to see them say something then nothing at all
