My Church went to visit another Church and when we got there it was kinda crowded. Because of my visual and hearing impairments I try to sit as close to the front as possible.

Anyway I go to the third pew and see if there is some space there. A man gets up to let me sit down. But the woman sitting next to him got mad and tried to make me sit further away. The man kept saying "Let her sit here." And the woman just acting ugly pushing me when I tried to sit down until finally the man had to put his foot down and insist that the woman chill. So I sat down and the man was going to go find somewhere else to sit but the woman wanted him to sit next to her. So he did. I couldn't hear all that was said but I guess that was her man because they got up together in the middle of the service and left.

I wonder what he said to her. Thought of her.

Brothas what do you do when the woman you are with acts ugly in public?

That was ugly behavior, no doubt inspired by jealousy. I can't speak for the other brothers, but extremely jealous women have always been a turn off for me. I refuse to act in an unnatural or rude manner to accomodate a woman's insecurity. I will change partners before I change my personality.

The woman I'm with will not act ugly in public because if she does I won't be with her. It saddens me to see women or young ladies acting unladylike. This lady should have really been a shamed of her acting that way a church. If she acts like that in church image how she will acts out in the street. That why I say there are two churches in every church. There's the body of Christ and church folk. Sister just keep that woman in your players.....

Peace & Blessings

P.S. Better pray the man too sounds like he need it as well....

As Radical stated, so many of our Sisters are acting in this manner, and getting away with it, that it's become commonplace.

RIVER, as we were speaking about in another thread, this is one of the reasons why I'm choosing an international approach to finding a suitable mate.

These types of situations are first of all very sad and I hope and pray that I am never put into that kind of situation. I havent been thus far so I consider myself lucky. I dont think I could be with someone who acted in this manner.

That was hella' tacky on her part!... I don't know why people don't have no shame when it comes to being in the Public actin' foolish. My husband would act a fool many of times in Public and not only was it embarrassing it was degrading as well!. I just don't get it either.

You know, I forgot what I was trying to get at.... it's just one of those days I suppose...

The "Sister Act" that you've described puts the "U" in Ugly. When a woman I am with acts unladylike, I treat her like anything but, a lady.

I agree with most here. That type of behavior is ridiculous. If a woman acts like that with me, it's the last time we'll be seen together as a couple. I make if very clear in my dealings with women who may become my significant other that I don't care for such behavior; just in case some fall through the cracks that I couldn't filter out. :D
