I have a question to all the men in the forum.
Do you have a specified height preference for
your girl. I wanna know because being vertically
challenged at 5'3(weighing150), I have been told
that I'm too short by guys that only 5'10.
So, how tall do you want your girlfriend to be?

Ultimately it doesn't matter--I prefer that a woman be filled out more, than being taller.

But ideally, I guess I'd have to say that I do prefer them taller, if given a choice.

But that doesn't mean that I'd discount the "vertically challenged" sisters, as you stated.

I've found that shorter women are some of the most physically beautiful.

Myself, being a short statured man, 5'7", I would prefer my woman 2 be shorter than I am, cuz I like 2 look down in her eyes.

Taller women are definitely nice, but if I wanna kiss, I don't wanna stand on my tiptoes. Slow dancing also has a different "feel" when I'm with a woman my height or shorter.

My "rant" wasn't about women but about men who act like hypocrites.

Too many black men have been turned into punks when it comes to their women and instead of boldly declaring thier intentions and feelings about what they want and expect from women; they'd rather hide behind sweet talk and fake "chivalry" and try to show out on other men.

Like 2 bulls fighting and locking horns on a hill.

You don't see white butchering eachother up because one flirted with a woman and the other got mad.

It's hard for me to take bruthaz serious when they say they care so much about a black woman's honor that they can't stand to see another brutha flirt with her; but yet don't seem to show the same outrage when black women are sexually harassed and assaulted in the work place by white executives and managers.

After seeing the various sizes or heights of the sisters in this thread… I don’t think any of the sisters who have posted so far, can be considered too tall or too short (whatever either really means).

I think it’s how you carry yourself, being comfortable with your own body and how the woman relates to a man who is taller for the most part…when you’re over 6 feet as a man, it is rare to find women taller than you…and with all the things that a man needs to have in common with a woman, in order to have a good and enjoyable relationship, height is sort of non-factor (within reason).

It’s usually not a factor during sex and you can enjoy different women, different ways. I think what really bothers some Black men or women is really how they are perceived together before others in public that may have many men or women overly concerned about height…and that may be also a little shallow and possibly a lack of self-confidence.

If the truth be told, taller (5’9 – 6’0) and very statuettes women intimidate "some men" (no matter how tall the man may be)…and as strange as it seems they also have issues with their public image and masculinity if the woman is too small or short.

As I said, this is all about the public image…we need to remember how many well-known male celebrities are really sort of short and are usually purposely cast with love interest and supporting actors that are their same height or shorter.

Brothers, I don’t think a few inches one way or the other in a woman’s height should be allowed to cheat you out of what may be pretty together sister.

Well I'm barely over 5 ft tall.... and I only feel short when I can't reach something on a high shelf. I guess that's why The Creator blessed me with a 6 ft tall husband and I LOVE that even though I'm a "Big Gurl" he considers me to be "petite"... :blush:

Yes, Black men must have nothing but RESPECT for Black woman! The Black men must found pride in Black women, treat them like Royalties they love and protect so much! Black women must fight for the love and dignity of Black men... raise their babies and be faithful to them... risk anything for them!
