I got that e-mail too, but this e-mail was a few years too late I think. I lQQk up phone numbers on the net all the time. Since the net is so widespread I don't believe we can ever keep all of our personal info from somehow falling into cyberspace.

This is a reminder to be carefully with your sensitive information. This is how people get their identity stolen and their cell numbers cloned. Pay that extra few cents to get an unlisted phone number and use a shredder to shred personal mail and the like.

Yes, it's definitely worth the few extra cents. I paid to have my number unlisted, and sure enough it is.

I believe you can also get someone's address by using the online version of yellowpages and mapquest.
