This, again, is an excellent website for the uninitiated concerning the cultural retentions of African Americans in our arts and culture... Flash of The Spirit is a book written by Robert Farris Thompson, and here an excerpt is taken from it to show the relationships African Americans have to our ancient past... People, please give it a read... I know it is not easy to read and study history and culture, but as one gets more and more knowledge about it, it becomes much like putting together an puzzle... It literally becomes a fun thing(smile!)
