as usual $$RICH$$ your poetry makes me speechless, i don't know much about thanksgiving because my parents completely banned me from celebrating it but i do belive it is wrong to celebrate bloodshed, thank you for sharing this with us!!!

what an fitting tribute. you know whats sad like i said i live in ga and where i lived the indians inhabited. a famous frencher came to our place long time ago to name this place after his hometown. but get this the indians own the land. there was this three chiefs who agreed to not sell the land to the whiteys as they call them. and of course one of them did and caused the other chiefs to be mad. i was so dumbfounded on how they could have given up a land of plentiful and bountiful. to experience what was later to be camps and freedom taken away. if you ever come to ga going toward newnan ga you can still feel the prescence of the past around you. and i could see a mounds where time couldnt erase it. so in closing happy thanksgiving.

They may have shed a lot of Indian blood, back in the day. However, they didn't finish them off good enough, cuz my blood carries from 25-37% of it. I do not celebrate thanksgiving for this reason. It's like celebrating "Middle Passage" day. Go figure:o
