I was reading this story today and was NOT shocked to find out the man on the tape was R. Kelly.

I AM however disappointed that a criminal reverand would be involved...just another "bad" preacher I suppose.

Anyway...I do admire how Gary Sheffield is handling the little criminal and the media.

Gary Sheffield is showing what type of a man he is, and all those who criticize black men need to take notice. However this has to be a humiliating situation for the family, and an example of why people need to be careful about creating “sex tapes”. Specifically I feel that people who intend to get married & have a family one day, should be careful not to conduct themselves in a way that will embarrass their future spouse or children. That being said R. Kelly is an obvious pervert, and Mrs. Sheffield was apparently one of his many victims.

To be prosecuted for Statutory Rape, the parents of the minor have to press charges & cooperate with the police. Quite simply the parents of the accused victims are not cooperating with the police.

I guess Gary knew she wasn't a virgin when they married. However she probably presented herself as being more "innocent" than she apparently was. It was reported in the NY Daily News that Mrs. Sheffield wouldn't let Gary kiss her until they had been dating 7 months....obviously she wasn't always that "conservative"!

people videotaping themselves screwing is nothing new. many people do it and it doesnt make a person a pervert or a bad person. and Deleon isnt a victim of R Kellys. according to many new reports she was of age when the taping took place.

If you have sex often enough, why the need to video tape it? To me that is the behavior of someone who only get's "some" once in a blue moon! Of course a person could be doing something wrong, and wants to "see" their mistakes in order to correct them. However if this isn't the case, I'm too busy actually having sex, to watch myself having sex! I just think this is bad medicine. With the lack of long-lasting relationships these days, video taping sexual encounters is an accident waiting to happen.

Not a lawyer or anything. Most of the charges are ok-except for for the distribution of child porn. Don't know if that charge was dropped or not.But a good lawyer can get him acquitted of that one-he did not distribute it-it was stolen from him-like the DeLeon tape.If the thief is one of the gov't witnesses-the cross would be interesting. Now the other charges are iffy for him to get off on, provided the government puts on a good case.

This is what I am saying, if you already know your woman has been with other men, then what can you expect. However if she acts puritan with you (not letting you even kiss her for 7 months), then you find out she has been "shaking what her momma gave her" for other men on camera...that is deception!
