I been feeling sick, been feeling real bad,
it's the worst kind of pain ...I ever had.

I called the doctor, to ease my pain,
please hurry up doc ...I'm going insane.

My mind keep saying, just hold on to faith,
and get a grip ...before it's too late.

Doc, sometimes I feel like, I'm on my way out,
and I don't even know ...what my life was about.

So what's the cure doc? ...how much is my fee?
or is it beyond ...any help for me?

Well, your heart is damaged, but I caught it in time,
so get plenty of rest ...and a peace of mind.

The doctor said, as he hand me the bill,
what you really need ...is a "wake-up" pill.

Sometimes our minds can just be whipped, to where physical pain would actually be a welcome relief. You added a touch of humor at the end, I wasn't expecting that. This had a flair to it, keep those flows coming.
