And he completely agreed
That back in the game
Is where I need to be

I know I will need practice
I’ve been on the bench for a while
I will have to get out there & work hard
To find my own kind of style

How will I play the game
Well, that’s all up to me
All I know is the game will be played
And honesty is the key

Should I start a lil one on one
Or take on the whole team
Will I play full or half court
Maybe a game of horse is all I need

Should I cross-em ova
And take it to the streets
Or should I run some plays
Just to make it less unique

Maybe this game
Is harder than I thought
I’m tired from practice
And this is the easy part

Should I just take it to score ten
Or maybe even go to twenty-one
Two halves or four quarters
This game hasn’t even begun

Should I play inside or out
In the park or at the dome
Should I go after the ones I know
Or leave the, I know who you’ve been withs, alone

Do I follow the rules
Or make them up as I go
Do I play against the inexperienced
Or maybe hit it up with the pros

This game is so complicated
There’s so much stuff here and there
And the hardest part of being a girl in the game
Is figuring out who’s playing fair
