I know that all our ancestors originated in Northern Africa/Eqypt and I was wondering about the significance of the Merovingian bees. When the tomb of Merovee's son Childeric I was opened there fashioned were 300 golden bees. Subsequently these golden bees were sewn onto Napoleon's coronation robes. Does anyone know where the Frankish tribe acquired the symbol of the bees. Since they thread back to Egypt I am thinking this was originally an Egyptian symbol. I am very interested to know where the symbol originated and what it meant.
