LOSING GROUND...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Mother bared "6" CHILDREN,
5 daughters and a son.
Sadly enough I need to say...
this daughter wasn't the one.
That she looked upon as being hers,
she gave me up...without a word.

I wondered long and hard, at how this came about,
out of "6" head of children...I was the one kicked out.
Years and years and years have passed,
the "6" turned into "5"
I'm losing ground...and helplessly...
I'm feeling awlful vibes.

But life goes on, ...and on it goes,
who'll be next...God only knows.

More years has past...deaths again at my door,
the "5" that was left...has withered to "4"
I'm losing ground...and it seems to be,
that these numbers are dropping ...rapidly.

Mother dear, ...it seems to be,
that soon you'll be left...with only me.
And guess what mother...?...
I'm the one you threw away,
and guess what mother...?...
I'll never leave you astray.

Cause I know you miss your children...the ones that's gone at bay,
but I'll stay right here beside you...
Yes ME...the one you gave away.

I'll shower you with all the love...the others didn't give you,
It's in my heart to love you...and this I swear is true.

It takes a heart bigger than an ocean
to forgive and give like this
It takes a person truer than human
to overcome this level of adversity
It takes a beautiful soul
to share pain so openly

The ability of forgiveness...I don't know if I could be that strong in this situation...
