I do believe that in Judaism, Shabbatos is from dusk to dusk, Friday to Saturday. And, I think it signifies rest. There are Rabbis who take the day so seriously they do not even speak. But it means what it means.. no work. No laundry. No cooking. No grocery shopping. I think traditionally you're not allowed to bathe or have sexual intercourse of anything else during those hours. It is a holy day to be spent in prayer and meditation.

I hear you, but just like you for example, have been given his gift to be self-sufficient or operating, providing you abide buy his laws and principals. that is his creation, Life.

I must agree when God gave use his image he place a measure of himself in us all, but are we still not kept by his grace while he rests. Isn't it by the grace of God that we wake up each day and have the things necessary to sustain us. Can God still be us while at rest?

Thank you my brother most don't see that. We really should be thankful everyday that God has given us a chance to serve Him and do His prefect will. I can truly say there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of God or give Him the glory and honor He rightfully deserves. Well, I guess it depends on the situation and the actual religion or something. If you're referring to Judaism, as far as I know, it's a sin to do just about anything other than pray or meditate on the Sabbath. Unless, I'm assuming, it is something that will put your life/health in danger. I'll have to do more research on this.
