William Regnery II, heir to the Regnery publishing fortune and a principal player in his father's company - which produced the Swift-Boat veterans' "Unfit for Command" - is a leading advocate of white supremacy and is moving into a business aimed at "providing services and products to whites."

His jumping-off point is a planned match-making service for "heterosexual whites of Christian cultural heritage," according to numerous sites that have begun investigating Regnery's past, among them Working for Change and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Even Newsweek did a piece about him, but apparently no one made the connection.

In an appeal to potential investors titled "Population is Destiny," Regnery wrote that the Caucasian dating service would be no ordinary money-making opportunity, but a chance to ensure "the survival of our race," which "depends upon our people marrying, reproducing and parenting." According to Regnery, the dating service will be the "first arrow in a business quiver" providing "services and products to whites."

Promoting white nationalism is nothing new for him or his family. His grandfather, William I, was an opponent of the U.S. siding against Germany in WWII. He signed incorporation papers for the America First Committee, an organization that opposed fighting Nazi Germany in World War II. His father, Henry, created Regnery Publishing, best known for publishing and promoting books written by conservative right-wingers like Anne Coulter and G. Gordon Liddy.

William II has made his mark as a major fundraiser in radical right circles as the founder of the Charles Martel Society in 2001. The society publishes The Occidental Quarterly, an academic-looking journal filled with articles by white-supremacist luminaries such as Sam Francis, editor for the white supremacist Council of Conservative Citizens, and Wayne Lutton of the hate group The Social Contract Press. Here are more authors on their roster:

William J. Bennett
Patrick J. Buchanan
William F. Buckley, Jr.
Ann Coulter
Dinesh D’Souza
Charlie Daniels
Steve Forbes
Laura Ingraham
Wayne LaPierre (NRA president)
G. Gordon Liddy
David Limbaugh (Rush's brother)
Michelle Malkin
Ted Nugent
Caspar W. Weinberger

I would suggest to you that there aren't many white Democrats who have white supremacist friends...

I have to disagree with you on that one bruh...Democrat or Republican I'd venture to say that all white folk have white supremist friends or are themselves white supremists.....I put no faith in either party...

I would suggest to you that there aren't many white Democrats who have white supremacist friends...

How about Senator Robert C. Byrd (D) of West Virginia and 'former' member of the Ku Klux Klan. How about Senator Zell Miller (D) of Georgia, who was a 'traditional' southern politician? Doesn't these examples blow away your misconception that "there aren't many white Democrats who have supremacist friends". I am sure there are many more of these types of Democrats through out the Federal and State governments of this country. You would be a fool to believe otherwise. Thanx.

I would suggest to you that there aren't many white Democrats who have white supremacist friends...How about Senator Robert C. Byrd (D) of West Virginia and 'former' member of the Ku Klux Klan. How about Senator Zell Miller (D) of Georgia, who was a 'traditional' southern politician? I am aware of Sen. Byrd being a former member of the Ku Klux Klan in the early segregationist days of West Virginia. The late Strom Thurman (R) of South Carolina and Trent Lott (R) of Mississippi were staunch segregationists in their early years as well. Sen. Byrd, however, admitted to his affiliation with the KKK and apologized for it. He is now one of the most revered and respected members of the U.S. Senate, and admired by African-American members of Congress as well. And if he presently has white supremacist friends, it is a well-kept secret. I am not familiar with Senator Zell Miller (D) of Georgia, and if he was a "traditional" southern politician. I've heard some political pundits refer to Senator Ernest Hollings (D) of South Carolina as a "traditional southern politician."

Don't these examples blow away your misconception that "there aren't many white Democrats who have white supremacist friends?"No they don't...I stand on the merits of my prior commentary...

I am sure there are many more of these types of Democrats throughout the Federal and State governments of this country. You would be a fool to believe otherwise. Thanx. What I am sure of is that there are a great many more Republicans with white supremacist friends throughout the federal and state governments than Democrats, as evidenced by the above article. You would be a fool to believe otherwise. Thanx...

What I am sure of is that there are a great many more Republicans with white supremacist friends throughout the federal and state governments than Democrats ...

Brother Aqil ... in order to be sure of this, wouldn't you have to know all Republicans, all Democrats, all white supremacists, and who they all have as friends?

How can you be "sure" of such a thing?

I was responding to Chukwuemeka, who said:

"I am sure there are many more of these types of Democrats (who have white supremacist friends) throughout the Federal and State governments of this country. You would be a fool to believe otherwise. Thanx."

(Italics mine...)
