Jesus' message is one of love and compassion, yet there is nothing loving or compassionate about factory farms and slaughterhouses, where billions of animals live miserable lives and die violent, bloody deaths. Jesus mandates kindness, mercy, compassion, and love for all God's creation. He would be appalled by the degree of suffering we inflict on animals to indulge our acquired taste for their flesh.

You know, being that you are in a sense, pointing the finger at christians, don't you think that this would fit better over in the other forum? Hmmm...why not start a thread on Muslims who sneak and eat fried chicken :eek: when no one is looking. :jumping:

Whatever sis. I think this thread is fine where it's at and I'm not even pointing a finger really. Im just showing that there are christians who support the vegetarian lifestyle. As for moslems who eat chicken, that doesn't apply to me.....So.....

I thought Muslims were to avoid pork... not chicken? Where'd chicken come from?
