from its entire frame...
and watched me bleed,
as the rip remained.

~you sure loved me to 'death...~

Then you burned my soul,
like a torch in the night...
and I stayed there burning,
with no sign of flight.

~was you slowly loving me to 'death?...~

My mind is on edge,
and my baby keeps crying.
but I can't tell my child,
that her moms slowly dying.

~d@m I wish you didn't love me to 'death...~

You scapped my pride,
till it was raw to the bone.
I can't scream, can't cry,
I'm down to a moan.

~you tried to love me to 'death...~

And finally at days end,
when I drop off to sleep..
I dream I'm in quicksand,
and I'm falling in deep.

I always find myself pulling,
back out of that sand...
and I knew I was put there,
by the hands of a man.

~I admit...you d@m near loved me to 'death...~

When you practice what you preach,
be careful of what you say,
and because of the spirit,
is why I'm here today.
