Hello Daroc,
A sister circle is African American women or any other nationality who meet regularly in what amounts to a social club. Some groups focuses on spirituality, relationships, and psychological well-being.

Well, I've heard of some groups that meet monthly over lunch or dinner.. They makes goals for the month at each meeting, and each sister offers suggestions and advice. At the next meeting, they each talk about the past month, and whether or not they achieved their goals. Some of the sisters meet weekly to offer each other moral support. Getting started? Well, I assume you already have some sister-friends, cousins, co-workers, blah blah blah that you usually talk to. Start with that group, have a pot luck styly luncheon or something of that nature, explaining what you would like to do. Chances are, some of them are looking for some sort of support group. Hope this helps!

Welcome again sisters!
I'm not sure if you all are aware of this, but we have Sister chat here every Tuesday at 8pm. You all are welcome to attend. We give moral support to each other. We discuss diverse issues, we laugh and cry together. It's wonderful! Come on by sometimes and feel the connection as we embrace each other with love, knowledge, and support! :grouphug:
