Into a define journey
my mind wonders
seeking the joy
i once felt when
my heart was filled
with loveones and
how we grew to a
onesome
on this path i cross
so many more friendz
family and great
compassion weaving
into a glisting rapture
i feel the movement
upward into the walks
of this journey by strong
will & grace
looking ova the walk
into where we started
and peeping at where we
going the river is the guide
and my heart is the comfort
zone my soul is the shelter
so i look back at my family
and think .....

And you think to a time
When scribes and poets
were a wholesome family sublime
where folk leaned on each other
when they felt low
And sincerely applauded one another
during a positive flow
While in your realm you'd feel at home
where you could hang your hat.
And shouldn't have to watch your back,
cause real family don't play each other like that.
A family of some of the most knowledgeable
and gifted nubian folk around
fostering old school
while breaking new ground
With hope for the future, you head for
the river, to the path of peace in the valley
Hopefully when you look back you will see
Not only the past, but a new horizon
featuring a rainbow of lights uniting in love
sometimes, you have to just give it
to the One above
and trust it will happen
as you look back at your family
and think....
