someday this shall pass
this wound in my soul
will close
and the sound of your footsteps
leaving me
will fade
what don't kill you
make you strong
for so long I've been told
but no one shares
this feeling that the world
is cold
someday this shall pass
and the words I'm sorry
will mean something again
when I can look into your eyes
and not see the darkness
I mistook for love
someday this shall pass
when I won't sleep again
and my body is warmed
by your kiss
someday
someway

toylin,
skillfully written, it captivated and involved me in the mood.....
making me say i'll be glad when something is done to make this pass....
it's too blue
add some yellow
make it green
your writing skillz
are
WAY TOO MEAN.....

Peace and Blessings....

You are very talented Toylin. You express the feelings of loss very well in this poem.

Toylin, we can't write about happy times, if we just aren't feeling it. The mood was melancholy and you captured it well. Peace.
