I tried to explain
So that you would understand
Life is not a game

I tried to tell you
Not to be the straw that breaks
The camel's frail back

I tried, yes I did
But you continue to play
Changing all the rules

sometime da game is
played raw and funny within
da crossing of love

He wouldn't listen.
Thus, the sun won't rise for us.
Watching the sun set. :crying:

And when the sun sets
We think of the reasons why
Night time came so fast

I enjoyed all of these...
but this is the one that
hit home for me...

And when the sun sets
We think of the reasons why
Night time came so fast

The moon is dark
There is no light tonight
Regret has arrived

Regret fits comfortably
Just like an old shoe

we try much harder
and still one hear not my call
as the moon drop slow

Who can catch the moon
When the orb begins to fall
Embrace with both hands

Joyce

we try much harder
and still one hear not my call
as the moon drop slow

If it drops too slow...
Please help me envision hope.
My moon reflects you.

Who can catch the moon
When the orb begins to fall
Embrace with both hands

If you don't stop hitting me so hard with these haikus, I'm gonna fall out. But please...don't stop. I like it.

A reflection seen
In the eyes of a sweet dream
I tried, to see him

Coming from you...wow...thank you joyce, I appreciate you more than you know.

Joyce

In murky waters
My reflection can be seen
Through the eyes of love.

Love itself, is pure
What oft surrounds it, is not
Breaking through those walls...

Joyce

Love endures much pain.
Careful who you give it to.
Love sees without eyes.

Protecting the heart
Don't want it to break or ache
A throb would be nice...

Joyce
05-15-2004, 02:03 PM
I agree with you.
A heart throb would sho be fine...
If it's a brotha.

watzinaname

A brotha that starts
A pulsating beat of heart...
A blessing, indeed.

one who's kind of heart
with a soul so beautiful
and a brain so stacked

and beauty, like moon
that's not possible to match
loving and sexy

Different strokes for
Different folks, my man sings
an eccentric tune

We pine at the moon
The moon stares back, struggling
To embrace, but can't

Joyce

May the moon reflect
The brillance of our love...
Envied by Venus.

When the moon reflects
The brilliance of this bliss
All waves will pause
