When all is said
and done,
When all of the moons
have completed their many
phases,
When Pluto becomes warm,
and Venus becomes dark as night,
When the wind blows
heavenward,
and the skylark sings to the
bowlels of hell,
When Mother Earth hides
her face in her hands and
tears of blood streams from her
eyes and the roots of her hair;
when the voice of the world is silenced,
and the animals become quiet,
When all is ended and there resides nothing
but the feel of anticipation,
What will I have accomplished?
And in the end will it have been
for something?
Or will I have to wait for
when that happens?
