"...and as I speak I am also listening"

those words swirled above my head
before touching my earlobes...
and there they hovered just outside
the threshold of my mind,

words...pleading with MY WILL to gain
entry ...MY WILL,
which was standing pat
against the door
of my understanding
like a Roman Centurion

I hadn't really heard a thing,
with the exception of that one phrase,
although
I knew well how to
play the listening
game...

other sounds had long since
seduced all my senses
and I had been engaged in
illicit pleasures all evening

mentally masturbating,
if you please

I certainly was...(pleased)

and the euphoria was so
sensuous, so tantillizing,
so mesmerizing
I never noticed when the speaker,
who was also listening,

left the premises

I always look for you, and the meaning underneath your words....

I enjoy peeking into your depths.... :D

'undercurrent' in this piece, sis. But I don't expect anything less from you.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped to read this poem and then re-read this poem,
this poem with such teasing sweetness.
Therefore, I leave this simple missive to convey my appreciation and add my salute to those who've stopped here before me and partaken of this fruit of you.
