Upon her back she lies
whispering “come on big Daddy…”
while inside she hates the man
the plan
the game played
and she seeks the moon

As he mounts her
with that deplorable smell
that smell
the stench of body unclean
and soul unclean
and solicited sex –
voluntary rape fiend
she seeks the moon in nasty

but she seeks the moon in necessity
as a lover
for she must sell to eat
to feed her little three
back home in a one-room
high-rise hell hole, called home
with no power to see
no water to wash free
the stench of this life
so she seeks the moon as a lover
to take her away
from this foul f^%K fool
this foul “rent by the hour” f^%K room
the foul existence of a f^%Ked-up life

so she escapes to the moon
to a fairy tale love
of a strong black family
a strong black man
with a strong black love
and strong generational ties
and for 3 minutes she
lives and flies to the moon
as a queen
with a king
in a royal palace…

until his howl and piercing excrement
brings her crashing back to the ground

until next, she howls at the moon

Wow....Your words were so piercing. I guess, lol, actually I know when a soul gets too weary to deal with reality, you have to momentarily put it on a higher plane.

escape is coping. so many of us must run at time because our reality is just too much to bare. thanks for the read..
