moham, there are three major elements that forefront a horoscope: the moon sign, the rising sign and the sun sign. The sign the moon is in represents who you are in your soul - who you have been in past lives. The rising sign represents the way you see the world, ie your window on the world. The sun sign is exemplified by who you are striving to become. It is very possible for you to feel more like an Aquarius than a Taurus. We all are composed of the various energies, and some may prevail more strongly at various points in your life. I am a double Pisces myself - moon and rising in Pisces. I spent the first half of my life very very much like a Pisces. As I've grown older, I've embraced more of my Gemini sun. The Pisces is still there, but it's a little more balanced now by the Gemini.

It would be interesting to know what your moon sign is to see if and how that played a role in your life at some point. The houses that the planets are in also influence your chart in a major way. I hope this makes sense. I am not the columnist here, but I have studied astrology for 16 years.

What I know about myself is that my sunsign is a Taurus(5-5-'80), my ascendant (or rising sign? I guess) is Aquarius and further i know that my moonsign is capricorn.
When I read treats about taurus and aquarius for example, I recognize more of an aquarius in myself.
Well maybe you can say something about this combination......as I said before , it's plain curiosity.

You've got a challenging combination with your moon and rising. Before I continue let me say that challenges aren't necessarily bad - we all have them. Nor is an aspect of astrology necessarily "good" or "bad." The energies are just there and we choose to use them either positively or negatively.

Capricorn moon indicates someone who may be austere and serious - takes life very seriously. There can be a bent toward material posessions and status. Can be shy and insecure and oversensitive to perceived slights. They are also ambitions and hard-working.

Aquarius rising has on the lens of one who likes to connect with a broad base of people and is a forward and unusual thinker. You see how this could conflict with the nature of Capricorn moon? But you say you are vibrating to the Aquarian vibe....

Taurus is warm-hearted, stubborn...all the stuff you've probably read and that is the the beginning of this thread.

You've got several planets in earth signs, moham, including your Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. You are probably practical and grounded on this earth plain where we live. (as opposed to idealist air signs, for example). The Aquarian feel you are having, however, is undoubtedly reinforced by your Venus in Gemini. That indicates you are people-oriented, a unique thinker and like variety in your romantic and social life. On the challenging side, this might also indicate you get bored too easily with people and have trouble sustaining relationships.

I'll get right to the point. I made a mistake, my time of birth is 1:29 in the morning (P.M that is I think????) and not 1:31.
And that makes me a Taurus with moon in Capricorn (ooooh) and rising in Pisces.
I recently found this out and was very shocked because all those years I felt like an Aquarian and I still do and I just won't admit that I'm a Pisces, I don't know why cause I don't know much about pisces. But that is probably the stubborness of Taurus.

Anyways it was a stupid mistake and I hope you can tell me what influence rising in Pisces has on me.

And one more question. Is your moon in Capricorn always a unfavourable position? And I'm not as cold and austere, actually I'm very childish, too childish sometimes and warm.
