Greetings Sister Lady Bastet,

Thanks for patiently waiting for my reply. I had to get my mind right to respond. My experiences began about two years ago. I remember it starting happening before my 1st Reiki attunement. The pre-astral travel phenomena scared the the hell out of me. It happens right when I'm about the go to sleep, especially between the hours of 9-11 at night. My eyes closed, I began seeing bright intense lights like I'm staring at a car's headlights. After the lights, I begin hearing a buzzing or the sound a crystal chandelier might make. Next, there's slight tingling or pricking sensation all over my body. This eventually is accompanied by me sensing a presence in the room with me. Internally, this sparks a struggle, as I'm in like a dream state, between me and the entity. I feel myself letting go and I try to fight harder not to because I fear I let go I will die. These were the earlier stages of my astral experiences. I began telling people about these occurences and someone showed me the book "Soul Traveler" and said he describes also the same thing. I thought I was have seizures or something and was thinking of going to the doctor to get checked out. The author described the same thoughts, although he did go and was told everything was ok. So now with the understanding that this could be astral travel beginning. I resolved in myself to let go. I let go one night and entered the womb of my pregnant wife, where our daughter was chillin. It was amazing seeing her, feeling the waters move and squish and having the feel of an astronaut. Afterwards, I went into some (I don't know where), but someone told me to "Learn the Laws, Understand the Laws, Master the Laws, all who learn, understand and master the Laws become Rulers of the Earth." I go some more teachings, but that's private.

When the orisa or vodun come into my dreams and sometimes possess me in my dreams, I experience the same pre-astral phenomena. I believe they are related in some way - spirit possession and astral travel. I will give more once I gather my thoughts and dig deeper inside.

When you get to the index go straight to the last section on the index, "Secret of Secrets" it deals with astral travel. All of the Tablets mention astral travel in a indirect way but the section, "Secret of Secrets" is more specific.

Be in a receptive state of mind. Take your time go slow. But as you begin to read you may become very excited at what you're reading; you might find this most interesting.

Thank you Kannte. I have been interested in the Emerald Tablets for awhile now. I will take your words as a guide. Again thank you. I never read the Emerald Tablets but I think you have just piqued my interest. I'm a practitioner of Vodou and someone doing a reading for me, said they feel a strong ancient Ogou presence who could be that entity.

My brotha your travels that you shared are very deep indeed. I am seeing a huge difference in what I have been experiencing.

I too feel that most of my travels have been private, however to share a little bit, I have been visited by the Orisa lately and vodun warriors. I have been overwhelmed with messages these past 2 months. I prayed for my third eye to be opened, and to bring forth only what I could handle and it seems as though a flood gate has been opened. The travels have been in my sleep though, not during waking periods yet. I still don know what all of it means, but I am confident they will reveal it to me in time.

The last time we wrote it was in the Wicca forum, I had shared a travel with you then, it is coming into fruitation. I figured out where those huts were located. It is amazing. Thank you for your help.

Kannte, I have felt and seen other presences' by me and around me and they are very powerful. I have gone through tests and initations, are you familiar with any of this? Always when I am visited, or I visit, it has been both, there are beings who are very powerful, protective and loving, they are teaching me who I am. I know that much. I would be delighted if you would be willing to share more.

I am reading this information with much interest. My mother, who has long passed on, said that as a young girl she was able to travel to other places. I have long felt that this ability is in me, in fact in my dreams, I feel that I have. Often I dream of those I have never seen in life. When I chant, any one word really, I can completely empty my mind. I only do this, in times of urgency, but I feel, and have been feeling this for a while, that I should do this more often to center myself. I hope this is all making sense, it's very hard to explain. I often feel like a puzzle with a piece missing, and once that piece is found, I will find my truer meaning.

With out going to great Detail Lady Bastet. In this former life I lived as a Hopi Shaman in Arizona. One of my grand parents, a black person had come out there and was adopted into the Acoma Nation. That person married a woman from the Hopi nation just outside of Flagstaff Arizona and had a child boy, me.

THere are not a lot of Hopi in Flagstaff, mostly Navajo. I believe this precipitated the move to the Phoenix area when I was about 5. A sistah... a medium by trade in flatbush brooklyn did a detailed reading for me about 7 years ago. She told me much of the healing and astral education I garnered from this previous life "spilled" over to the current.

I can't say that I've had an "astral" experience, but when I meditate, I do experience a lot of different types of energies. I remember one time in particular when I first started using mantras on CD with my meditation, I experienced a very powerful surge of energy through my body, which scared the hell outta me! But I remembered through my sudies that these "deities" or energies are present to HELP me in my daily life.

But I agree with Kannte's quote from The Emerald Tablets; We must learn to master the universal laws in order to have them works for us, but that must come with initiation and spiritual guidance.

I have experienced Astral Travel and to be honest with you, it was not all that special to me. It was a cool experience at first but after a few more times and battiling a few entities I did not think it was so glorius afterwards. However, I still think it holds a place in a spirtual existence and should be taken seriously. I realize what it really means now as in oppose to when I first started and I take it more seriously than I did then.

I have had similar experiences starting a few years ago. I didn't know what was happening as I had never b4 studied astral projection. I was laying in bed with my eyes closed & I tried to get up, but it was like there was something or someone holding me down. I couldn't even open my eyes, so I started fighting to get whatever it was off me. All of a sudden it was like something punched me in the chest & a breathe of air just hit me. It happened a few more times in the following months & I was scared to death. It happens to this day, but now with more overstanding I am at the point where I can control it even when my mind is at such a relaxed state because I don't fear it anymore.

I even feel it coming on sometimes when I'm at my desk at work. Now I can feel the energy of others whether - or + so strongly & I attribute it to being in touch with other frequencies & or diminsions. I must say though I have never heard a voice on my travels, but I do feel as if I am being guided by something & they or it still surrounds me when my spirit returns to the physical frame.................

I have done it twice in my life. Once on accident and once on purpose. Both of them were rather unsettling for me. When I was 20 I got lucky because I had set an alarm clock which sort of saved me...cause I was that far gone. I mean I was not literally on the planet anymore. (very frightening due to my ignorance at that time and because I was unaware of what was actually happening)

The second time was at the age of 36. This time I was fully aware and knew what I was doing and what my intent was. The problem this time was that I was in an area that I was very unfamiliar with, and as such, was afraid of being lost and of not being able to find my way back to my body.

I will do this again, but this time I will have the entire proper setting, go through a serious fast and body cleansing, have all the correct sounds, smells and inner peace and isolation for the results I need. How else do you think that I came to know that there was no such thing as death, as well as in going over the teachings of our ancient ancestors?

I am now trying to find ways to travel astrally. As of yet, I have not been able to do it successfully, though I wish I could. I would love to get a sneak peak of the spirit world before dying. Seeing my dad again would be nice too.

Please elaborate more on your experiences. What methods did you use to travel astrally, and what happened once you were transported to the spirit world? And also, what are your religious beliefs, (if you don't mind me asking :) ).

This used to happen to me often along with sleep paralysis and an overwhelming feeling of terrror when I lived in a certain house.
A good friend of mine hipped me to what was going on and how it was an evil entity in that house doing this and I had to choose betweeen either:

-getting the hell out of that house
or
-literally getting the "hell" out of that house with exorcism.

I chose to just leave and haven't been bothered since.

But it took a turn for the worse when it got into the wrong hands.


We fell from glory because to many of our ancestors started worshipping stones, sticks, animals, dead relatives, and everything else but Who we were supposed to worship...THE CREATOR.

As long as we continue to dabble in witch-craft, magic, and all types of divination and spirit conjuring you should never expect to see us successful as a people.

I`m wondering, if you will believe my story. Or should I say my mystery ! Anyway, this is what happened to the High Priest Himself ...
I was coming from my evening course,which is "The learning of Human nature"( while the other people are learning how to make some money) . Now, as I stood in my doorway, I looked into the garden, cause I could`nt hear my dog barking or see it. So in the garden, I saw a round object in the form of a Dinner-plate. The kind of porceline my grand-mother use to have.The object was illuminated. Somebody say Amen !.....
Then I saw a creature in a floppy form, standing by the illuminated "plate-object". He made a sign to me as if to say "come to me".
From that moment I lost conscience. I woke up in the morning, lying down in my garden. With a big bottle of Whisky ...it was empty...
I`ve never seen my dog again ... from that day, I realized that my dog had been kidnapped.Against its will.
