1. Must be a REGISTERED Member of the Forum.
(click here (http://destee.com/forums/register.php) to register now!)

2. Must be present, during the entire competition, to win.
(if you get logged out, it won't be held against you, as long as you return)

3. You can speak your competition piece twice.
(you can practice your piece during the non-competition Fridays, so when you speak the piece during the competition, it will be polished!)

4. All types of poetry welcome.
(the poet with the most votes wins, regardless of genre)

5. First Come First Served.
(only 30 people can be in the room - so get your seat early! )

6. You can only win one Monthly Competition.
(until you win, you can compete each month)

7. Community Moderators cannot compete.
(even though they want to! :) )

1. Must be present, during the entire competition, to cast a vote for winner.
(if you get logged out, it won't be held against you, as long as you return)

2. Each Member present, including Moderators, get one vote.
(Destee's vote will only be counted, to break a tie, if needed.)

3. Email your vote by clicking on the CONTACT US FORM (http://destee.com/forums/sendmessage.php) here or in voice chat.
(vote must be rec'd within 24 hours of contest and include your Member Username and the Member's Username you are voting for - you can only vote for one person - if you choose more than one, none will be counted)

Family ... this is a first for us ... having a competition on the site. It's being done for us to have FUN, and take things up a notch. You are not obligated to compete / participate. The particulars are subject to change, as we refine this effort, and will be posted.
