Sometimes "Family" isn't so very nice
"Family" often puts your heart in a cruel tight cold vice
"Family" can be a poisonous snarling snapping copper-head snake
Sometimes "Family" is more than one sensitive sistah can hardly take
"Family" can cause sorrows tears to stream hotly from your eyes
Then upon beholding this pain, act ever so surprised
Listen when I say, Be careful who you call "Family"
"Family" will smile in your face while whispering behind your back
Hurting you becomes their most conniving knack
"Family" really thinks you're blind deaf and dumb
But they don't realize all that you hear know and see
Caution : Be careful who u call "Family"
It ain't always good to be
