View Full Version : Poetry : Too Deep to Write About....

Scared to write
afraid of what
might spill out.
Could be freeing, but
could be mortifying.
Might just put my foot in
better just stop typing
before I begin
to feel exactly the
same emotions that got
me into this fix to
begin with. It is not
easy to rethink and
question every line
especially with
feelings like mine
easy hurt, heart
on my sleeve
want to express it,
but can't, hard to believe
it has come to this,
but it has. I just can't write,
don't want to feel,
try as I might
I just can't deal
with these feelings
they're just too real,
they're just too deep.

sometime our emotions
is too high da feelings
just too strong so we just
leave it along expressing
is the way to release self
flow on

Yes, Rich...sometimes a little too much self is in the expression, but such is the life of a poet. Thanks for responding.

most welcome as poet's always fine the path
to express the inner emotions & feelings
to the minds and be felt within as it drip to canvas

Sister...I completely feel you
sometimes I'm afraid to
of what reflection I might
see in the words on the page...
Feeling this deeply..
Love the flow!

Thank you angelicsage for letting me know you feel me on this. As poets, we can work around this I guess...

Poetry is new to me. It gives me a place to let out all my emotions, and things I cannot discuss with anyone else. I see you have written a lot of poems. So just continue to write and release, then when you gotten all those emotions out you can share them with us if you like. But just don't keep them in because they will manifest themselves in some way. Might as well be a postive way.

Yes, cojamalik feelings do come out one way or another, and a positive way is better. Since I first wrote this, I have mangaed to write about some of the feelings, though not all. Thanks for responding.
