i've been observing my own kind
those put wrongly in a bind
based on racism and greed
denied their fundamental need
the need to know and own self
to move from the pidgeon holed shelf

the ones i came from
and lived my life thus far among
on the other side of the tracks
the ones with their backs
against the proverbial wall
yet they still refuse to fall

i've watched them be everything
and grimace from the sting
of having almost nothing at all
yet still refuse to fall
sometimes they walked proudly in hand me downs
on their faces no trace of frowns

and friends ask the same question as thier foe
what superior knowledge do they know
how do they survive such unjust acts
and even though most lacks
even bare necessities
beyond the normal they still achieves

these people from the black dirt
forced to live a life of hurt
overall have touched true faith
have lived past the scorch of hate
their foundation has been laid
they're in line for being paid

with reconnection with their identity
they'll be joined with infinity
they'll move forward to their place
to rescue the human race
from the divisive devil scheme
that is enslaving the human being
