my names chuck and i make flash movies out of poetry... i wish i were a poet, i'm looking for a suitable poem for a project i'm working on about Dr. Martin Luther King jr. to be featured at my web site.
the movie starts off with a sad sounding classical music piece and leads into an inspirational short speech by Dr. King which then fades into a very dark background picture of him with your poem then fading in. here's a link to the yet unfinished work:
http://freewebsites1.netfirms.com/dest.html
the movie ends with the quote "The ultimate test of a man is not where he stands in
moments of comfort and moments of convenience, but where he stands in moments of challenge and moments of controversy."
the poem should be no longer than 5 paragraphs in any format or style...
either post your poem here or email me:
tfchuck@netscape.net
posting your poem here or replying by email to me would imply permission to reprint your work on my site (i need to replace some unauthorized poems i've used)
thx,
~chuck
