MICHAEL Jackson became a member of the black group Nation of Islam on the eve of being formally charged with child molestation, the New York Post reported today.

The newspaper quoted unnamed sources as saying Jackson became a member of the black Muslim organisation led by Louis Farrakhan on Wednesday night.

Whoa, now that's interesting. I heard he and his family were Jehovah's witnesses way back in the day, but I'm not sure if that's been true since the late 80's or so.

I don't believe it. I think it's just a rumor. Last time I checked, you don't become NOI over night. There's a process. MJ's brother Jermane Jackson was part of the NOI and the jackson family have been good friends with Farrakhan for years . But MJ in the Nation..lol, yeah right. Members of the Nation (in Detroit) even says it's not true.

A couple of days ago Jermaine Jackson said on CNN Larry king that MJ being in the NOI was untrue. However the NOI has moved office space with MJ's attorney and apparently will do security.

With these charges. Michael is afraid for his life. So body guards from the nation are with him now. This will shake the process. To the point of giving him a fair, and well scrutinized hearing. I don't blame him. He should reconsider his actions after this. If he wants to entertain children. Do this and spend his nights alone. Sleepovers with children by an adult is weird. So he should quit this practice.

men that cuddle, travel, sleep or handout with non-related children, even to the chagrin of the community wouldnt be allowed in the NOI.

but.....ben chavis was an adulterer and embezzler when he joined so anything is possible i guess.
