I thank you all..the week is wonderful..it is my birthday week...and I am enjoying it ..and you all help make it special by sending little notes/thoughts/words of support..
going to hear Hattie Gossett tonite and David Murray and Craig Harris..
going to hear great men of gospel on the morrow
seeing a new play on saturday evening
and topping it off with a celebratory brunch on Sunday...
My friends are joyous and like me can not believe you made me poet of the week...

honor to my parents and the energies that have transitioned this life
who guide and protect me
and honor and respect to all of you who help me flow in my continuance
what i have shared with you are prose/poems from the 60's and very early 70's
I have /do not see myself as a poet...so i am humbled that you selected me ..
what it did tho...was to show the spirit of love ..and to all of you who have shared in that energy...I thank you
I find it very difficult to really communicate on line...very difficult to really share full emotions and ideas .. Maybe after 65 years of living I recognize how hard it is to feel true energy through technology. Electricity connects us to everything...
I wish i could see you and talk to you...my senses are very good...and i must admit to those who sent there energy to me..twas the first time i began to have a sense ofsomething...through technology...
T'was a wonderful birthday gift ..and my friends and i drank a toast to all of Destee
May your spirit...spirits..forever guide and protect you..
